Dr. Ray Lioi has dedicated over 35 years to providing dental care to families in Harford County and surrounding communities. Since graduating from the University of Maryland Dental School in 1987, he has served patients of all ages, from children to seniors, and currently cares for multiple generations within some families. Dr. Lioi remains passionate about general dentistry, focusing on composite restorations, crowns and bridges, porcelain veneers, dental implants, removable partial and complete dentures, and geriatric dentistry.

Before dental school, Dr. Lioi pursued a master's program in recombinant DNA technology at UMBC and earned his undergraduate degree in molecular biology from Johns Hopkins University. His pre-dental school research at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions included work on stem cells, immune system proteins, and molecular genetics in leukemia patients. Dr. Lioi has contributed to dental literature with two published articles in dental journals—one on odontoma and another on infection control. He has also shared his expertise through lectures on the safety concerns of dental amalgam, the public health aspects of fluoridation, and oral complications of cancer therapies.

Dr. Lioi is committed to continuous learning, participating in numerous dental continuing education courses to enhance oral health outcomes for his patients. He is renowned for his compassionate and personalized chairside manner and treats patients as friends. A Baltimore native, Dr. Lioi spent his high school years at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute and later moved to Harford County with his wife, Valarie, where they raised three sons over 40 years of marriage. He values the beauty of rural landscapes, small towns, friendly neighbors, and the quality of life in Harford County.

During his sons' upbringing, Dr. Lioi actively participated in coaching their sports teams, leading their scout troops, and volunteering at their schools. A devoted family man, he cherishes time spent with his wife, sons, only grandchild, and close friends. In his leisure time, Dr. Lioi enjoys reading the Bible and non-fiction, playing the piano, tending to his vegetable garden, watching Hopkins lacrosse, traveling, golfing, cooking, and engaging in bass fishing and boating activities. He is also an active member of his church.

Dr. Christopher Spears was born in Los Angeles, CA. He completed his undergraduate studies with a degree in Chemistry from Morehouse College in 2011. After that, he entered the dental program at the University of Southern California (USC), receiving a Doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) in 2016. After graduating, he began practicing as an associate dentist in various California, Pennsylvania, and Virginia practices. 

Dr. Spears is passionate about providing the best possible treatment for patients. He’s taken numerous continuing education courses to improve his dentistry skills. He also has a quiet demeanor that helps put patients at ease during exams and treatment.

Dr. Spears relocated to the area to be closer to family. During his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his daughter, building computers, and rooting for any team playing against the Dallas Cowboys.
